Yeah!!! I mean.....I lived there and I moved here when i was 10!!! Vietnam is a beautiful country! Especially Vung Tau or Da Lat! The people there are really nice and friendly (some are and some aren't). But I really love Vietnam!!!

Ng A is correct. Vietnamese is nice and friendly but commies are terrible.
When I visited VN, I had to bribe the custom offices before I got out the airport. After that, everything was nice. I visited the Delta Mekong and some other wonderful places. I always want to come back. I just hope the Vietnamese government terminates all the corrupt officers in the system. It will make VN growing stronger than ever.

I have not been back to Vietnam. I hope one day I would be able to go. My brothers will go to Vietnam at the end of this year.

Give it time. Communist will diminish because of the competition in the region. Those guys who're in charge of Vietnam right now are the same people who used to be strategically fighting with any country that invaded Vietnam. They still have a lot to learn. They also have to focus on how to make Vietnam more competitive when it comes to economics. The new generation will help Vietnam to become one of the sovereign countries in South East Asia ( I hope), One thing I'm impressed about Vietnam is that they do it on their own terms.

Speaking of litter. Again, people need to be educated of how to keep cities clean and healthy. However, you will find the same litter here in the states if you go into Baltimore city.

Bandit. What makes you think that people try to kill you? Did you do something bad or you're just simply a bad person? We, Vietnamese people don't just kill others unless they gave us a reason. I feel safer if I go to Vietnam than go to Baltimore city or Detroit. I can tell you that.
