Yes i have been to Vietnam a few times. They are very friendly and accomodating.
The climate is nice and warm.
I dont have problem with the food, they have varities to choose from.
Cost of living is cheaper than my country, if given a choice, yes i would love to live in Vietnam.

Yes, we visit Vietnam almost every summer. My wife is from Hue and also has relatives in SaiGon. We would enjoy living there but we like the educational system in the States better. We have a daughter still in grade school and if it weren't for that we would be living in there. Some day we will live there. Cheers flightmedicine. |

I have been going for years. My wife, adopted daughter and soon to be son still live there. We own a beautiful farm on a river in the Mekong Delta. I am hoping to semi-retire there in a few years. I hope to spend 9 months in Vn and return to America with the family to work when the kids are out of school.
I live in an urban area and don't like the amount of crime in America or it's schools. Maybe when the kids are college age they'll return to the US for their education.
There is almost no violent crime in Vietnam and the people are so easy going and friendly. (in fact, I think I am warping my daughter's mind by letting her watch the Three Stooges with me, but she loves them as much as I do ).nyuk, nyuk, nyuk |

i have been to Vietnam twice the last time a year ago and stayed for 1 month my wife and i stayed at her parents house
which made it a little easier but yes i would live there in fact i would like to retire there its hot most of the year but you get used to it i took 5000.00 dollars and spent till i couldn't spend any more then we gave money away and still brought back 1500.00 dollars all in all i loved it |
