How can I track a package sent via the Vietnam Post Office? |
I recently sent the package is Cell Phone to my family in Vietnamand vir Vietnam Post Office, it had been more then 7 weeks now, my family has not receive it yet, I do have Customs declarration tracking number . I searched for the Vietnam post office but couldn't find a tracking option on the website. please some one help me. thank-you. |

Vietnam state-run Post Office sucks.
everything is checked by the customs and must be bribed , esp. the electronics. p.o doesnt compensate if they lose yr items . upon checkin , they do break yr fragile items at times .
last month i received 30 lp's from a friend . the customs charged me 50 us . when i refused to pay , they sent my lp's to the ministry of culture , that said they 'd need a turntable to test my lp's .thats bullshit . finally , i gotta fork out 30 bucks 2 get 'em back..... |

your out of luck. if you didn't regisiter the package no one has a way of tracking it. you can have your family go to the post office and ask with the customer number. |

Is your package sent via registered post or its equivalent? If you have, you can make inquiries at the post office you sent the package to help track where it was last tracked. Loss of registered post entitle you to a small claim, not much though.
The other thing you can do is to send your package mailing info to your family in Vietnam and have them check at their nearest post office. Sometimes, package gets misplaced or what and may be at the post office still. Have the checks made. |
