HCMC is great! I was there a bit earlier (mid Oct) last year and it was hot. Shorts and t-shirt hot. It's much of a party place if you stay around the backpacker-ghetto (Pham Ngu Lao, something like Khao San rd in BKK). There are many sights that you shouldn't miss like: War Remnants museum, History museum, museum of HCMC, the Palace and more. Don't forget to go and see the Cu Chi tunnels. The food is good, everything is dirty cheap (rooms from US$4, meal from US$2) but expect the crazy traffic (motorcycles everywhere), noise and pollution, just like in every big Asian city. Something is always happening there... |

Definitely not cool. I was in HCMC last November and sweat more than I do at home in the summer (and I'm from Arkansas!). Not unbearable, but very much shorts and t-shirt weather. Traffic is a little crazy, but a motorbike taxi can get you anywhere in the heart of the city within about a half an hour. Really fun to be there...enjoy your trip! |

In November and December the temputure is much cooler then the temputure in the summer season. Like about, 55F to 75F. At night its really cool and its sometimes even cold |

Ho Chi Minh city has the same weather throughout the year: HOT, a little bit cool on Nov and Dec.
Come to Ho Chi Minh city not to enjoy your holidays (there is lotsa lotsa traffic, polluted, ...) but to see how an Asia Life is :-)

Hi,
November and December is good time to travel. However, you maybe difficult to book accommodation by yourself because all hotel almost fully booking.
