Well, it depends on where you live and the airline that you fly on. Like me, I live in San Francisco and I once took a trip to Vietnam to Ho Chi Minh City on United Airlines and it took about 20 hours, counting the waiting period between flights to transfer. When I took the same trip to Vietnam on China Airlines, transfering to Vietnam Airlines it was only 13 or 14 hours because there was no waiting period for a transfer between flights. |

It takes us from Detroit around 26 hours. We usually have a lay over in Hong Kong for a few hours before we fly on to SaiGon. |
