3 blocks off the beach in nha trang you should be able to get a $7 room or less, mui ne[ phan thiet] is on the beach but you can expect to pay nothing less than $20[ you may do better], doc let beach has real nice bunglows on the beach, its been a while but i think they'll be $20.. in old ha noi, you can get a room fo $7, hoi an[ rooms can be had for $7. in sapa $4, sai gon $15[again there are cheaper].. there are "hostle type "rooms around".. i think they are $4... budget yourself for $30 - $45 a day and you can eat , sleep , and travel[ bus, train and occational plane] well as long as you are there. |

The average is probably about 20 bucks but you can generally get a room at around 10 dollars if you hunt a bit. Sea side places can get expensive but try Hoa's at China Beach just out side of Danang. good prices there.
