I want to play soccer in Vietnam?
I am teaching English in Ho Chi Minh City. I was wondering if anyone may know of any amateur soccer/football clubs and how I can get in contact with them to start playing. Hope you can help :)
I personally do not know of any and I assume that you already asked at your school. Try asking at the American Chamber of Commerce in HCMC or ask someone at any of the various Consulates.

I don't know where you live. Every districts in Saigon has amateur soccer team. You don't need to register with them. Ask some of your friends (men) where you can play soccer. You go there to play with them. If you are really good, they will ask you to join their teams for tournaments. Trust me, they like foreigner and good soccer players in their teams. I may be wrong but i dont think there are any,i live in Nha Trang,a big city and there is none.There is pro football,i go to Khan Hoa home games,they are about equivalent to the 3rd division at home.
You have had me thinking all morning and i cant ever remember seeing a park in Saigon,so where would they play.If you think a city like London will have maybe a thousand pitches,i doubt HCMC has 10.
