Lucky u get to go Vn... i also went there for 2 weeks.. depending whether you're going to north or south vn.. but in my past exp.. i went down south... started off in Ho Chi Minh city... went to Da Lat, Nha Trang, Vung Tau, all the went down to the Cambodian Border... but i have to say, Nha Trang was my fave... beautiful beach, food, the people were great and you can book other tours as well... it doesnt matter where in VN you go, the best part is... every city has its own individual style...ie.. accent, food etc... and its a great experience... no matter where u go.. the scenery is great... the nightlife is awesome... but most important of all... SHOPPING!!!!!

Just go! Vietnam is a great place and easy to travel. Many things to see. My suggestions would HCMC, Hoi An, Hue, Hanoi and Halong Bay

If you can also try to get to the Mekong Delta for an overnight stay. Great to see.

Im guessing your young, o grab a guide book and go for it!

Two weeks is quite a short time to discover Vietnam from North to South fully. Anyway, you can visit some noticeable places, as followed :
1. HÃ Ná»™i : capital city, nearly 1000-year old. Center of the North.
2. Háº¡ Long Bay : heritage beautiful bay with thousands of islets and rocks. You can book tours to watch the beauty of the bay, kayaking and explorer mysterious caves.
3. Phong Nha - Ke Bang : Phong Nha is the most beautiful cave in VN, with the longest underground river in the world. worth to see.
4. Huáº¿ : capital of former Nguyá»…n Dynasty. Come here to visit the Imperial Palace, mausoleums of kings and royal music shows.
5. Há»™i An : former trade port in Central VN, today is world heritage with old houses and roads. It also has Cá»a Äáº¡i beach.
6. Má»¹ SÆ¡n : former Holy City of Champa Kingdom with beautiful Cham Hindu temples. Accessible by bus from Há»™i An.
7. Nha Trang : seaside city with small islands and sea recreation. A major hub for seaside travel in VN.
8. Há»“ ChÃ Minh City (SÃ i GÃ²n) : commercial center of VN. Great, big city, and capital of former South VN. Come here for museums, old regime's gov buildings and Cá»§ Chi Tunnel.
9. Mekong River Delta : explore special fruit gardens in the delta and go boating and shopping at floating markets on rivers and channels.

that is awesome vietnam is a very cool place!!!.

if you are going to ho chi ming, book a tour to Mekong delta and the cuchi tunnels... which were used by the vietcong in vietnam war... In mekong delta they have a market in the water that is pretty cool too.

then go up to Hue awesome beach and hoi-an (I dont know if I spell it correctly) and enjoy paradise beach and snorkling, finally Hanoi is a cool place too!!!

Vietnam is very cheap... you can have a dress (or suit) tailored in a couple of days
