..yeah vn is great.. if you want to improve your english, do this; watch english speaking tv and movies.. start with children's shows[ shows for children, take a class at night school "english as a second language"[esl]. listen to english music, STOP speaking vietnamese at home or with your vietnamese friends, speak english with them always!! hang out with people who cant speak vietnamese...stop listening to vn music listen only to englis songs, read simple english books. go to the library ask them to get you a language tape of vietnamese to english ..they do exist and the library will get one fo you to borrow do all these things and you will be speaking english much better in 2-3 months if you really work at it.. oh and "imitate" the english accent when speaking...

Yes I was born there, now i reside in the US. I just visited Vietnam in November, I have to say a lot have changed since I left in 1995.
I never had a chance to visit Ha Long Bay. Maybe one day, soon enough.
