If anything, this trip of President Bush is more important than President Clinton's trip, as Mr. Bush still has two more years to run this country and will possibly make a few decisions affecting Vietnam's economy. President Clinton's trip, in 2000, was a mostly decorative trip made in the remaining months of his presidency. That is why I was a little bit surprised that President Bush wasn't that welcomed during his trip; a loss for Vietnam, I'd say.
