If you are in Saigon, go by the Diamond plaza. Prices are not expensive at all. Though regarding sizes, when I went to this department store in Saigon, all the ladies sizes are a wee bit on the tiny side! Imagine The American size of "medium" translating to "size 1 / size 0" there. It was crazy. I'm an American size Medium petite and that would probably translate to being a Lane Bryans plus size model or imagine Anna Nicole Smith before TrimSpa there in Vietnam. Those Vietnamese girls over there are toothpick thin. Anyways, there is a famous place in Hue (I think) called "36 Pho Phuong" / losely translated in English as "36 Districts". There one can find whatever they want all clumped together at one particular spot. |

I feel you.. heheheh Clothes overthere were soooooooo small for my size.. eventhou i was size 3 n 5 over here.. i still remember trying to pull a (LARGEST SIZE THEY HAD) pair of pants n it won't go past my hips.. the sell lady was like.. how come .. y ... I'm like... I don't know.. heheehhe.. Anywayz, yeah.. diamond plaza is pretty nice.. check it out over there...

KesiTinh is correct in that the prices at Diamond Plaza are ridiculous. Any market in Vn has SEVERAL stores that sell nothing but "womanly things". Who do you think does most of the shopping in this world.
When I return to the states I'm usually quite happy to bring my friends a tiger beer or two. The Ba Xa is the one who loads my suitcase with t-shirts, knick-knacks and other assorted junk.
If you stay in district one, sizes shouldn't be a problem. They sell the 5x sizes that we Americans seem to need. lol |

yes............if u go to Diamond Plaza to buy ladies things, then i suggest u get ur azz on an airplane and fly back to ur hometown since it will be almost the same price.....y buy in VN when it's not really trustworthy.....Diamond Plaza is for richass communist's children to play....not for Viet Kieu....... |
