Yes! Because it has a bit of everything. There is plenty of crazy city life in Saigon (more than in Hanoi), lovely beaches, (ahem) excellent custom tailoring, the hill stations of Dalat and Sapa (quite chilly but beautiful!), jungles, you name it! I've been living here (Saigon) for the last year and a half and I still haven't run out of places to go and things to see!

Yes, Vietnam is an amazing place to travel. Really nice, friendly people and good service. There is also so much to do and see. It is a very beautiful country with a wide variety of interesting pagodas, shrines, gardens, museums, beaches, etc The cities are frantic but fascinating.

We were just looking at our pictures earlier and commenting at how colourful and truly beautiful it is.Choosing what to see and do will be the biggest problem unless you have plenty of time!

Yes! because it is nice, safe, and cheap

Most definitely.

Accept for plane fair everything else is very inexpensive because of US dollar is so much higher than Vietnam dong. Food is always fresh and plenty. Great site seeing places, lots of beautiful beaches, and the people are very friendly to you. And as for shopping, OMG, its the best. There are high end shopping center, wholesale shopping center, night shopping on the street, and open door market. I think is the best place to shop for a little money. I LOVE EATING AND SHOPPING IN VN!!!

fun question! home sweet home. just stay at home and keep away from the world around.

The Heart of Asia
The culture is beautiful, the people are nice, the food is authentic, exotic, and delicious. BUT...BE CAREFUL!!!! of the figure of authority. I see that you're a Vietnamese (according to your avatar name), since you're a Vietnamese, that means by natural citizenship, they can make your life miserable "IF THEY INTEND TO/WANT TO/SOMETHING IF THEY HOLD A GRUDGE AGAINST YOU EVEN IF YOU HAVE THE CITIZENSHIP OF OTHER COUNTRY"....Just be careful and be aware of your surround, be careful where you gonna take pictures, what you gonna say in the public. There are many people have been victimized in the past, beaten, tortured until they have to give "bribe" to the authority in order to go free. They wouldn't dare to touch other nationalities, ONLY to their own people. So, once again, be verrrrrrrrrrrrrrryyyy careful my friend. Don't let yourself turn out to be another victim of corruption in the third world country.

Oh, be sure to bribe the "figures of authority" on your way out and in the airport when you arrive to their airport and when you leave Viet Nam.
