Legitimate Tour Company in Vietnam?
My husband and I are going to Vietnam in September. In order to save myself from all the planning, I figured we'd go with a tour for most of the trip and venture on our own for a few days once we got comfortable. My question is, we found a great package with a company called Vietnam Royal Tourism, how do I know this company is legit? Their website is pretty comprehensive but I'm sure anyone can put up a website. Do they have a "Better Business Bureau" that I could look this company up?
If you are looking for financial protection you will need to book anything through a travel agent or tour operator in your home country. Your money will then be protected. if this company goes bust before you get there (if it really exists) you will lose the lot. Even if one of the hotels or airlines they are going to use goes bust or stop operating they can still charge you again for a new hotel.....you have no financial come backs.
Book with some one local to you....yes it costs more but at least you dont need to worry about it!
