F.Y.I. Most poor or developing countries are accustomed to eating dog meat because it is a cheap and plentiful supply of protein. A Mexican friend of mine brags about eating dog when he was a kid growing up in Chihuahua, MX. The Vietnamese and other Asian cultures get a bum rap for eating dog due to small minds and ignorance. People from other countries find it weird that it is against the law in the United States to kill dogs or cats for human consumption yet millions are killed every day just because they don’t have a home.
To answer your question more directly, you will not find a restaurant in the U.S. that openly serves dog meat because, as I mentioned before, it is against the law to consume dog or cat meat in the U.S. |

No and i highly doubt that you'll find any. Did your "friend" request you to take him/her to a restaurant that serves dog meat? Or you're just assuming they'd like it? |

I don't think it is legal in america to serve dog. So it probably won't be in any of the resturants |

In California (Orange County, San Jose) there are many Viet restaurants that serve Fake Dog dishes (made with pork).
Or, you should ask your friend to bring over a whole dog killed, char roasted, ready to be chopped up and cook.
