Price in vietnam?
a standard mcd burger in vietnam costs how much?
a big mac for eg.
They do not have Mcdonalds/Burger king or any of those other "beef" places in Vietnam. Real beef is very expensive here. About the same for an Australian Prime Rib as it costs in America, which is a lot of money over here.
If you want to go see the Colonel for some KFC, it costs about the same as America but the chicken is TINY. I mean, you get pieces of chicken that look like they came from a pigeon. lol

No McD's in Vn. The closest is Loteria fast food. Their Shrimp Burgers are quite good. I'll give you the price in about 23 day when we are back in HCMC. I think they were $2.00 last summer. Cheers C

A standard Big Mac costs about $300-$500 in Vietnam, which is the cost of a round trip plane ticket plus the cost of the burger as there are no McDonald's in Vietnam as of yet. The closest McDonald's is in either Hong Kong or the Philippines depending on where you are at in Vietnam.
The cost is considerably less if you have a friend who happens to be traveling from the U.S. to Vietnam and picks up a Big Mac on the way for you (I did that for my cousin). Keep in mind that the Big Mac will be far from fresh as it will have traveled as much as 20 hours by the time it arrives in either Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City. Ironically, it tastes the same as fresh perhaps due to all the artificial flavoring and preservatives stuffed into each Big Mac.
I also agree with LD. Why in the world would you want to eat a Big Mac in Vietnam when there is so much incredibly great food at a fraction of the cost of a Big Mac? That's perhaps why McDonald's has not expanded into Vietnam yet.
Addendum: You might have a chance at a Big Mac in Vietnam for cheap if you can wait about 23 days and convince FlightMedic to bring one with him when he comes to Vietnam.

I think there might be a mcduck's in HCMC (UGH!!!), but why in god's name would you want to eat that when there is so much great VN food available, and much less expensive?

There are hamburgers at the bakery shops in VN. Of course it is not like McDonald. It costs around $2/each.
