Should I work so hard?

I am working as a manager of a mini hotel. I spent most of my time here. DO you think that I should stay here all day and night? Is it good or bad? Some can manage from outside?why I can not?

Who wants to know
It doesn't matter how hard you work. You have to ask yourself if you're enjoy what you do and this stepping stone will help you to get to the top. It also depends on your priority.

For me, I prefer to balance my job and my family. Money and position are not always important. If your goal is working hard, saving up and retiring early then I say go for it. If not then you shouldn't work too hard and regret later that you don't have time for yourself.

I have a MA in Marketing but I don't want to be a manager. I've tried but I found out that people are rude, undisciplined and irresponsible. If I managed a bunch of Asian people then I would not mind but unfortunately, I work for corporate America.

Somebody will be happy to be busy all day and night. I think it's good....., but you can arrange some time to relax.. to enjoy your busy life.

Why you cannot? I don't know.
Maybe the business is not equal to your talents. Maybe your talents are not equal to the business.
Either way, perhaps you should read some books and gain knowledge... It sounds like you have the time :-)
For now, work as hard as you can... When the job chooses the man, you will be happy.

It s so bad if u work all day and night. WHy don't do as working time? U need time for friend , family and relax. Work is jus wok. Or in Vietnam u have not any relatives or friends?

It depends on your job, I know many job with crazy schedule.
Does you boss ask you to be there all the time? IF yes, try to deal with him about working time, then make sure yu have a cell phone with you. IF no, you can find something else to do.

Working is good. If you don't enjoy your job look around for a better one. Try the big hotels in your area. I am sure they would have better hours to work. Good Luck. Cheers.

Living a life

I am assuming that you are in Vietnam. It is not worth it that you spend all that time in the hotel. You still have a life to live.

On the other, if you lok at the americans, they don't work half as hard as you would, and they earn a better living. They even have the cheek to think that they are more superior than you are. Just because you are not white....
