What do you think about Vietnam Airlines direct route to the U.S. at the end of this year? Do you think it's more convenient to travel from U.S. to Vietnam? Do you think Vietnam Airlines can make profits? Please share. Thanks.
I would definitely fly it provided it saved me either time or money. I usually fly United because they have the fastest route from the North-Eastern seaboard.
I like the food on Korean and Singapore Airlines much better.
Also, the person who redesigned the Korean Air Flight Attendant's uniforms should be "keel hauled ". I hope Vietnam Air keeps the Ao Dai.

I think those direct routes are going to be great. It will probably cut the flight time from the U.S. to Vietnam by two to three hours. It’s going to force other carriers to focus more on their Vietnam routes and subsequently drive prices down. It’s also going to bring more opportunities for Americans to visit Vietnam.
Not only will Vietnam Airlines make a profit, they will gain more respect from other airlines. Vietnam Airlines is one of the fastest growing airlines in the world, and they’re getting bigger all the time. It’s a smart move for them to put focus on the U.S. market and also a win for the U.S. Vietnam Airlines just placed orders for more Boeing jets last year, which means more American jobs are saved.
