ooh i just got back! i'm guessing you're going to saigon? don't be afraid of the crowds and the traffic and everything, it just adds to the excitement! butttt... watch out for pickpockets, keep your bags, id, passport, money, close to your body at all times. other than that it's pretty safe. oh, and you're more likely to eat better at the local places than the fancier ones, those are costly and have awful food.
and if you're looking to relax, then head out to nha trang for gorgeous beaches and less people. if you go there, just don't go to vinpearl, that is the nastiest place ever, trust me!
