Vietnam is buiding a high speed/bullet train systems that runs from Saigon to Ha Noi? Do you think its a fast and convenient mode of travel? Would you use it to travel from place to places?
i often take the train in viet nam , just because i like the experience. i've never taken the "fast train" but i have been told it's not too fast because it has to waite for the slower trains to pull over..... any way i'm sure that will improve over the next few years... anyway if your in a hurry viet nam is no place for you.

It's nice to hear the good news, but in Vietnam today, the best and comfortable means of transport (except airplaine) is coach or direct bus from province to province. There are various buses available at Pham Ngu Lao street in Ho Chi Minh city, but they are more tourist bus than hi-speed bus, thus you can go to "Bến xe Miá»n Äông" and look for some private-owned entreprises.
