I once visited Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam and realized that there were sooo many small shops in the city and so few supermarkets and department stores for the city of that size.
What would it cost to buy a reasonably well maintained (by Western standards) 2 bedroom flat/house in Saigon? Where can I find further info? Additional Details Preferrably district 1, or ...

I am going to vietnam and am especially interested in wildlife, having a tough time finding any wildlife orientated tours.

I have heard of sites that are noted for bird watching. Do some serous google searching for more information.
WWF, FFI and other intl wildlife NGOs are in Viet Nam. Contact their local offices (google will tell you) and ask about possible sites to visit.

There are some places to go.
Cuc Phuong Primate Center (South of Hanoi) is great. You do in a day or over night.
There are also tons of National Parks through out Vietnam. Many are actually quite good places for bird watching (if thats your thing!) Many in the south around Dalat.
I haven;t seen any "Organized" tours on Wildlife but you could easily arrange something as private tour.

Hi,i think you will be out of luck,Vietnam is known for great beaches food and its people,i have lived here 3 years and have never heard or come across anything to do with wildlife,in fact out in the country what wildlife there is probably gets eaten.

There's zoos outside of Ho Chi Minh City. I'm pretty sure it was in Dalat. At the zoo I went to, it had tigars, monkey and maybe elepant and a whole bunch of other ones. Hope this helps
