Im sorry if i didnt spell it right. Its white and has a slight salty/sweet taste to it. Its like a potatoe but..i dno it has some weird texture. Im not sure how to describe it. But QUAI MEE is what it sounds like phonetically
It's called Khoai Mi, aka cassava, manioc, casava, or yuca. Wikipedia has a whole page dedicated to khoai mi only it doesn't refer to it as khoai mi. Read up.
Hope that helps.
Me!!!!
yummy.
Who wants to know
Serious (the previous poster) is correct. It calls cassava.
What we do is shred the cassava, put sugar on top then sesame seed that smashes with a sprinkle of salt. That's why it tastes salty and sweet. In Vietnamese it calls "khoai mì".
