If you stay in Hochiminh city, you don't have to worry too much about weather, only from November to February, it's cooler, any condition of weather not effect much in saigon |

In HCMC and Seam Reap, the average daytime high will be in the high 80's Fahrenheit while the average night-time low will be in the mid to high 70's F. However, from time to time, the morning temp. can drop to below 60 deg. F.
In Nha Trang, the temp. will be about 5 deg. F cooler than in HCMC or Seam Reap so remember to pack a sweater or light jacket for the casual cool mornings (mid 50's). Pack just shorts and T shirts and you'll have some pretty chilly evenings and early mornings!
No rain to speak of as January is in the dry season which spans Nov. through April. Have a great time and congratulations! |

The weather that time of year is perfect, the weather should average about 26-31C during the day and about 16-22C at night. It is the dry season, and rain is unlikely, but here in Asia, you never know for sure. I was in HCMC this past January, the weather couldn't have been any better. You can always check weather.com for seasonal averages for temperatures and rainfall. Congratulations and have fun! |

The time you chose is supposed to be "winter" in the cities you are planning to visit. You will not have rains nor storms and the weather will be cooler than usual, meaning mild and pleasant. Nha Trang would be cloudy some days and as for Siem Reap, it is going to be easier for you to walk along the ruins due to this weather because when it´s hot, IT´S HOT. |

What a great experience to share your honeymoon !!
The weather generally in SE Asia is a bit more stable through this period. But being tropical expect some storms, which clear quickly.
If you're looking to book some accommodation in these places and find some more information, I've enclosed some links to help you.
I've also given you some links from a directory to the National Tourism Offices of Cambodia and Vietnam
Good luck with your planning: |
