They won the war with America and are very very tough and hardworking soldiers. Vietnam is a very poor Country. The people are very friendly; especially in smaller towns and villages. They are a very superstitious, traditional and religious people. Tourism is growing at a fast rate and they are trying to adapt and learn what the Western travelers are looking for. It has beautiful Country side, paddy fields, tropical and farming lands. Because it is so poor, there are lots of scams targeting tourists re tours and hotels and taxis in the Cities so take care if you're visiting. |

Its picturesque and tranquil mountain/river/farm scenery in the north. It grows better rice than its neighbours. The movie "Good morning Vietnam", etc. etc. |

Vietnam is very Hot and the people there speak Vietnamese. The food is very good there and this country is in Asia. The main sport they play is Soccer and other sports include Ping-Pong, Tennis, and Badminton. The capitol is Hanoi and they were in the Vietnam war. They have many festivals and the kids study a lot in school. In vietnam, there are beautiful traditional dresses called ao dai. |
