I find Vietnamese culture fasinating. It has a lot fo culture and it is a cheap place.

Besides all that, Saigon means PARTY :D !! Well, not really, but it is the BEST place ever!

I have spent the last 4 years in Viet Nam, living in Ha Noi and working as far south as within 400 km of HCMC.

My favorite country - I have lived in or visited over 40 the last time I counted. Interesting culture, wonderful people, great food - the heat and humidity are not so pleasant though!

I think it was impacting at how friendly and easy going people were. You do get a bit of culture shock because most people in Saigon drive a motorbike and not a car. I think its the best way to see the city is by motorbike. Good looking people too. I liked Saigon it felt like a small town even though its such a big city with tons of people. Still its pretty clean, and safe.

good foods , wonderful culture
the weather is really hot tho
but u get 2 go out everyday

My dad was in vietnam. I don't think that it was particularily interesting...but it is so often talked about b/c of the impact that it had on their lives.

Tank you for your interest in Vietnam. I'm very proud of my country.
First of all, I think Vietnam is the no1 country that is totally different from others. Food? Super cheap! But super good, fresh! You can see food venders, some food stall on the street. Everytime you pass by them, man, you will smell them, and drool :D. I like that the most that how matter how much you eat, when you see the food on the street, you'll just be hungry again. No matter how dirty the food is, it's still good.
"Pho" is my most favorite food. It's chicken/beef noodle.
IF you get to travel from north to south, It'd be so great. From Ha Noi, to Ha Long Bay about 3 hours away, one of the wonders of the world, I love traveling on a cruise, standing in front, you can feel the wave of the sea, bobbing on the waves... feel so good. To Hue is different too. To Nha Trang, I love it the most, blue beautiful beach, you can dive under the ocean and see corals, go to tons of islands and each island has a different fun thing. You will get to ride on a telepheric to the most famous island, closed on the land, Vinpearl land, you will see a shopping area of famous brands, water music show, amusement park... They are just opened some years ago but attract a lot of visitors...
I wish you can go see Vietnam one day and have fun

its very hot humid weather that makes your body very sweaty and sticky. you will be taking showers alot
