I like banh xeo. My all time favorite.
Bo Nhung Bo with Banh Trang is extremely delicious too. And i always love Goi Chua. To me, these foods make pho look bad.

I love some of that crazy excuse for food. The bun baos make me gag with the raw dough- yuk!

My favorite food is prawns cooked in coconut milk.
I am visiting my wife and children now and spend almost every-day working on a coconut grove we bought from the government at an auction (it's been neglected for years). Every few days or so, my brother in law catches shrimp in the irrigation canals and my wife boils them in coconut milk. There's nothing as tasty as fresh con tom right from the water. It makes working in this climate a whole lot more tolerable, especially, as one of the other posters noted, with a large glass of cafe sua da. (and after work, a cold Tiger Bia!).

EDIT: @ Suzielu... It is common here... to have Condensed Milk Coffee with Ice... They also have Milk Tea with ice as well...

@ Isabelle... Chinese and Korean Food... Should try the BBQ beef for Korean Food... Some people make the kimchi treat very nice... Some are not...

Chinese... Hmmm Too many to name them... Maybe Fried Rice is the BEST... lol

EDIT: Noooooooooooooooo... It is not Milk Bubble Tea... It is really tea with milk and ice was added...

Edit: U can also find "duck embryo" in Taiwan...

I love it all. French sauces with oriental food-mmm mmmm great! There are no Vietnamese restaurants where I live now and you just made me want to go to visit my son where there are TONS of Vietnamese restaurants!

I have many that I like.

Pho, Spring Rolls that you wrap yourself, my mom makes this chicken with a bunch of seasoning and its pink!, and Vietnamese ribs, that seafood soup with quail eggs, Bubble Tea, the rice soup with chicken, (chao?)

Much of these things you may not know because my mom makes them specially.

Depending on my mood. I like Pho, Crispy chicken and egg noodle soup, pork roll, handrolled wraps, tri colour drink and ice coffee. Yum!

Viet coffee is special. I have only had the popular VN dishes. I have heard alot about the eggs with the chicken embryo but it doesn't interest me.

Here it is mainly Chinese and Korean restaurants ...but the food just does not taste the same...
