the people would have to top the list.. genuinely friendly, humble and kind. vn has something for everyone from back-packers and cyclist to jet setters and entrepreneurs. there is an adventure waiting around every corner; inner city with endless mazes of back alleys and busy markets, hundreds of coast line beaches some full of tourist others pure virgin. there are jungle mts, and sand dune deserts. in every province you can fine remnants of ancient culture, in every town square modern society evolving before your eyes.
vn is a dichotomy of past and present, of wealth and poverty of joy and sadness.. vn is the ultimate adventure.. open your heart and let it in...oh yeah great coffee too !! lol |

Great food, a long history (some of it fairly recent), a very interesting culture, 54 different ethnic groups, a nice country. Friendly people.
I live here (in Ha Noi for 4 years now) and it is well worth visiting! |
