Spend most of the morning trying to find my friend Ong Jon only to find out that he left for Na Trang three days earlier.
Take my wife, jump on a bus and go to parts of the city that we haven’t been to before and find our way back home or to one of our relatives.
Meet up with my crazy cousin Tai, go to An Dong Market and watch her and my wife go nuts shopping. By the way, An Dong Market is so big that it makes Ben Thanh Market look like a convenience store.
Walk with my wife around District 1 without any specific destination in mind and people watch. Wander around Ben Thanh Market, meander through the Saigon Centre and take pictures in front of the Reunification Palace.
Borrow my cousin’s motorbike, take my wife on a ride through the city, drive like a crazy American and learn new Vietnamese cuss words from the native Viets that I piss off.
Take my wife on one of those fancy dinner boats for a romantic dinner cruise up and down the Saigon River.
Sit with my wife on the balcony of our house in District 7 and watch the submarine races in the lake in front of the house.
The absolute best thing to do in Saigon is anything so long as I do it with my wife.

get up early,go shopping at benh thanh market area,at night hang out in the pham ngu lau/bui vien bar district [[fun safe] or maybe see a play or go to the jazz club back by the market.. in the afternoon go over to the cathedral and walk down "rodeo drive to the river"..or meet up w "quan t" , have him take you around.. he lives in sai gon...
