Danang's China Beach is one of the best . Long and beautifu. Dangang is large; so there is lots of different types of shopping. Danang is a busy seaport; so the fresh fish is fantastic to eat. I think you will have good time. Cheers. |

Danang is trying to attract more tourists. At the moment this is still mainly a big industrial zone.
China Beach or My Khe Beach are nice compared with other parts of Vietnam but if you come from some certain beaches, you will think differently. There is almost no night life. The beaches are quiet from dark.
Shopping? I don't think so as there are more shopping options in Hoi An Ancient Town for tailor-made clothes, lamps, conical hats, table & bed runners, souvenirs, etc. Although all of these can be bought in Hanoi with almost the same price, Hoi An has the night entertainment and beach life which is better than Hanoi.
If you're looking for shopping and good nightlife, Hoi An is the place to go, not Danang. Nha Trang is good for you, too but go to islands nearby for better beach quality. |

NOT THE PLACE.....better to go down to HCMC for nitelife, to Hoi An for tailor made clothing and antiques, up to Hue for historical stuff and the best beaches are between Hue and
Danang......the recent oil spills have been a problem....check with the locals. |
