Of course there is a good side and bad side just like any other country in the world However, as a Vietnamese, I can say that I'm very proud of my country. Although we maybe small and still poor but one thing about Vietnamese people is that we never gave up.
Some people may focus on the wealth instead of the beauty or the resilient of Vietnamese people. One thing I have to say that we're independent and we don't need anyone who feels sorry for us. Just remember we're taking care of ourselves and it may take a long time to become a wealthy country, we're proud to say that we do it in our own terms. |

What do I think about Vietnam? Uhmmmmm! A small country in SE Asia where people are kind, friendly, happy, hard working and resilient. A country with a long history of people who are willing to do anything to protect their mother's land. A place where are so many beautiful areas that've never been touched. A culture that goes back thousand of years but no matter how many times it has been wounded by wars, Vietnam always stood up and preserved its traditions. Vietnamese people can survive anywhere in the world. However, Vietnamese people never forgot where they came from and appreciated their ancestors for what they have done to protect their country, and their culture. |

The country and the people are great. The food is great as well as the sceneries. I was there with my Vietnamese wife in 2005 and want to go back again. I love Vietnam. |

Nice country, nice and poor people. Vietnam is building and growning fast. There is only one problem that is corruption in the government. When those old and uneducated leaders die, young and educate leaders will lead the country to the bright future. |
