Hmm... That's a broad topic, but I'll try to answer as much as I can remember from my visits.
Well, in Saigon, of course you have the Ben Thanh Market, one of the biggest tourist attraction.
Next to the Ben Thanh Market is, Pho 2000, I believe that one of the U.S presidents have been their, and had a positive opinion. (I can't remember which, it's like at the tip of my tongue, but I can't remember!)
Furthermore, they rip you off, so you might want to bargain a little. (ex. Ask for a price that is about 20-10 VietDong cheaper than the price asks, and then if they don't agree, just say you won't take it, and walk away to "look" at other things. Don't worry, they will call you back and agree with your price because their real expence is usually 1/2 of the price they give you. This strategy will work about 82% of the time, and if you're really good and bargaining, then you can save $$$)
Nha Trang has a very beautiful landscape of beaches, coral reefs, and a really summer-beach theme to it.
Nha Trang has lots of tourist attractions, and the food that is real special is that of seafood. This is more of a "fun" attraction.
Da Lat has more of a quiet landscape, and it's a little cool there too.
Da Lat has a Da Lat market filled with a variety of fruits and fresh veggies. It doesn't have much of a tourist attraction, but there is this church that raises orphans or handicap kids (I can't really remember), but anyway, they make knitted things, and wool things to sell, and the profit totally contributes to them. (very good organization) Da Lat is pretty historical too.
Ha noi and Hue has BEAUTIFUL landscape, very beautiful. I mean it, it has a wide variety of places to go, and things to see. They both consist of historical temples, kingdoms, and history of VN.
These are not all of my information, but if you would like more, just e-mail me. I'll be more than happy to help. |
