Hue was more interesting than I thought it would be when I first visited it.
As a previous question mentioned, visit the Nguyen king tombs. Visit the Citadel. Visit the Purple City. Take a night-time boat ride on the Perfume River and listen to Vietnamese folk music. Get out of town and visit the jungle, waterfalls and rivers. Most important – eat the food. The delicacies of Hue are to die for. Hue is an excellent holiday destination, and you will enjoy it.
