Best place for surfing in Vungtau and Danang. In Vungtau you can go to Vungatau Beach Club www.vungtausurf.com.
Tam's Pub and Surf Shop (www.tamspub.com) is a relable source of decent rental boards in a variety of sizes. Tam's is located at 43 Ho Xuan Huong, Da Nang, Vietnam, just two blocks from the best surfing beach in Vietnam.
In Vietnam, the prevailing wind is from the land onto the sea and there are no significant waves for surfing. Sometimes there are storms off the coast and the waves are large but usually unsuited for surfing. |

Yea,i have to laugh,dont know much about surfing but i know you cant do it in Dalat,1,its about 45 miles from the coast and 2 Dalat is in the mountains. |

China beach and Nha Trang, Surfing is not really popular in Vietnam yet, there are clubs in Nha Trang.

Don't listen to Meo. There is no beach in Da Lat. Vung Tau doesn't have surfing activity. |

Beaches in Da Lat, I have heard was the best.
Vung Tau used to be great, but I haven't been back in 5 years so I'm not sure about it's condition now.
EDIT
My bad, I said "I heard", never been to Da Lat so I don't know for sure if there's a beach. Don't have to bite my head off.. |
