Hi there
The first 8 million VND is tax free. You will pay 10% tax on everything you earn over 8 million VND - including allowances like an accommodation allowance. There's a whole thread on tax in Vn on Dave's ESL Cafe Website, which you can access through your Yahoo search facility.
