SEPTEMBER IS VERY HOT AND HUMID, LOTS OF STORMS AND CYCLONES, I WAS THERE THIS FEBRUARY AND HAD PERFECT WEATHER. I THINK ANY TIME FROM NOVEMBER TO APRIL IS THE BEST TIME. I TRAVELLED EXTENSIVELY IN VIETNAM AND WILL GO BACK AGAIN, YOU HAVE A GREAT TIME THERE.

I would have to say February. No doubt that it will be raining and hot all that time but I think February would be better because in North America can get a little cold there maybe it might a bit cooler around there too. I've only gone there 3 times and when I went those 3 times, I was always there during June,July and August !

I refer February. It is after Tet or Tet time. The weather is hot but it is still better than September.

The weather for September is cool and the weather for February is sunny. So I suggest you should go travel Vietnam on February because it have better weather.

I personally don't think February is a great time to traveling to Southern Vietnam. I had 6 years living in Saigon. It's extremely hot in that time (from February to the end of summer).
The great time, I think is winter or beginning of spring (January). It's not too rainy and too hot.
