There really is only one place,Nah Trang.OK HCMC as similar but its all spread out,you could spend half the evening traveling,and you are stuck in a heavily polluted city.NT is beautiful and right by the sea. |

Pay attention to what Keely said, he is not wrong at all. Nevertheless where ever you go every place you visit after dark is the best and most importantly quick cheap! However please use your common scenes, will you. |

Here is where I enjoy going, good food and cheap beer. Both of these are good friendly places in HCMC. I have some other favorites in Hue and Hanoi.

Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) by far. Nha Trang has some good spots too but no cities in Vietnam can outdo HCMC, not by a long shot, when it comes to restaurants, bars and night clubs
By the way, Spud (the 6th posting from the top) claimed he lived there but he misspelled the name of the city. It's Nha Trang, not Nah Tran. |

Ho Chi Minh city is the best. it has everything from restaurant, markets, karaoke...the most crowded place at night is probably in County 1 (Quan 1). you see light & people everywhere. |

The most popular place would probably be Saigon and Ho Chi Minh City. You won't have a hard time looking for places like restaurants, clubs, or bars there. |
