What things are there to do and see in Vietnam????
Im hoping to go for a week in the summer when I will be in Thailand. Is a week enough? Is it easy to get accomodation? What are the best things to do??
Your best bet is to fly to Hanoi and visit Sapa and Ha Long bay should be enough to keep you occupied for a week there. Alternatively fly to Ho Chi Minh and the Cu Chi tunnels, maybe via Ankor Watt if you want to be really busy. Whatever you do you won't regret it, its a beautiful country

Vietnam is amazing. I recommend that you at least a few days in Ho Chi Minh city and Hanoi each. Some other great places to go are Hoi An, which is on the coast near Da Nang, and Da Lat. I wasn't actually able to go to Da Lat myself but all the Vietnamese people I met and talked to said it's a beautiful place known for it's amazing flowers. It's very hot and humid in the summer so be prepared!

Sorry a week wont be much time. I'd cut to the chase and Visit HaNoi. You can do day trips out of there very reasonable. Then I'd return to Vietnam as soon as possible and give it a lot longer visit. cheers.
