What to bring?
What might one bring as a small present for a class of Vietnamese children? How about the same for a Cambodian family?
Bring age appropriate books with pictures - animals from your own country, means of transport, home and family, pets. Coloured crayons and colouring books would go down well if they are primary age. For the family something pictorial as well - city and street scenes showing just how it is where you live.

Toys and treats for instant graditude. It'll make them feel like X-mas. Though my mom usually give them stationeries to help them with school - pencils, crayons or notebooks. She thinks it's more practical cuz in poor families, they can't affort to have these. And you can buy these items in VN so you don't have to lug them on your travel.
Is it a country/suburb or city classroom? City kids are a little better off - go with toys and candy treats. Country - a little of both of you can affort it.
