Pretty much the same things you do anywhere else, there's great restaurants, tons of great bars and clubs, some of the coffee shops are real happening places, there's Vegas style gambling (Caravelle Hotel), if you're a little more adventurous, talk to some of the touts that hang around District 1. HCMC is a fun city, I'm sure you'll find plenty to do at night there. District 1 is where most of the action is, although if you're going to be there awhile, you might want to explore some of the other areas as well. Have fun.

You may want to go to "em va toi" it's a bar with live music performed by star singers every night. I like the band very much, they are professional. Or you can go to Pho Hoa Pasteur to eat PHO. heheh don't go to the message place alot, your back bones can be damage soon.

You are very lucky to go to Ho Chi Minh even if for work. You must make time to visit the war tunnels and the Mekong Delta. Here is a site on Vietnam which will give you an idea of what to do. http://www.affiliate.viator.com/brochure/results_1.jsp?CONTINENT=Asia&COUNTRY=Vietnam&AUID=4274

Enjoy

well... just like other cities in the world, Ho Chi Minh city would be boring for the urban people. If you have lived in a big city before, then this city has no interesting place to visit. We have restaurants, bars, discotheques, cinemas, entertainment parks etc.So.. if you still love to go there, try! Perhaps you can discover some special taste in em.
I suggest you take a tour to somewhere outside this city like Nha Trang beach. It will be fantastic!

woo, many things, eat anytime u want, [of course at pretty much everywhere, especially District 1], clubs, bars, overnight, shopping, wondering on the streets full of lights, watching people.... just many fun things to do
^^ have fun
