What was the population Hanoi, Vietnam 10 and 20 years ago and what is the projected population for Hanoi?

I'm doing a report for school on Hanoi, Vietnam and cannot find any of this info. Please do not tell me to do a different city, this was chosen for me, I have no other options.

1. What was population 10 years ago?
2. What was population 20 years ago?
3. What is the projected population for future?

Hanoi's population is constantly growing (about 3,5% per year). Before it expanded its area (August 2008), the population is about 3 millions. After the area was expanded, the population is about 6 millions.
