Yup, Vietnamese agencies are a way to go. They will give you the price with taxes and everything included.
Buying online may seem cheaper but there are other taxes and fees that are hidden. Also, the VNese agency will take care of Visa for you too. Would recommend you buy ticket as soon as you know when you want to travel, even if that's 1/2 yr or 4 months b4 travel date (may save you $200-$300) - all airlines will increase rate as the day gets closer.
One more thing, you might want to travel to Saigon 1st, stay there for a couple of days - will be worth your time, then buy plane ticket to Hanoi. Take the Train if you want a scenic tour and don't mind spending 36 hrs on a train. |

you will most likely find it cheaper to fly to Bangkok, and then hanoi with nok air, or perhaps air asia, its also handy and easy to arrange your visa in Bangkok.
good luck |

The one that happens to be showing the cheapest ticket available when you check it. Check many, since prices change so frequently. |

call travel agency in big cities such as San Jose, LosAngeles, Dallas, Houston...etc. you compare the prices and pick the cheap and available for you. I don't think on line is cheap. As you know, if you buy from Eva air from the travel agency, you can ask for your seat when you purchase the ticket. Talk nice to sale person, he or she may give you good seat.
Good luck |
