When Was Ho Chi Minh City BUilt? I CAnt seem to find out when it was built.

Prey Nokor was the original name. I can't find when the town was built but I can tell you that the Khmer people of Cambodia ruled it until their power over it weakened in around 1628. Over time it's name changed to Saigon due to the Vietnamese immigrants to the region. The Communists gave it it's current name in 1976.

The Khmer people are about 3,000 years old and the small fishing village, Prey Nokor, was already pretty old when the Vietnamese came. My guess is at least 2,000 years ago.
