2 Next weeks, my parents and I intend to go to Vietnam. I know we can go to Vietnam embassy to get visa on arrival, but it takes a long time. Is there any other way to get visa to Vietnam?...
I like to bring them via ship. Do i have to pay for tax for it if anyone know? And does anyone know a good ship or any transportation company that would love to take the offer? I am looking to get it ...
They say Nguyen Tan Dung is the current leader of Vietnam.
They also say Vietnam is a communist state, but my dad said that they vote for their leaders in Vietnam. I don't really think N...

Where to get a visa for vietnam?
can i get a tourist visa for vietnam on arrival at ho chi minh airport!! if not what is the best way to go about getting one? can i get the visa in Bangkok or Cambodia prior to entering vietnam as i will be also in these countries Thanks very much!!!!
you have to get a visa before entering the country, it depends on your nationality as well. and it can sometimes take a while for you to get a visa, so it's a good idea to get one sorted a few months before you actually go and get it validated for the time that you intend to be in the country.
you will have to go to the vietnam embassy in the country you are, with your passport and whatever it will cost. you can google Vietnam embassy and it should find the one closest to you.

You can order on line and pick your visa up at the airport or border crossing. I have used this site a bunch of times. works great, safe and easy.

And I get 1 year multiple entry visas but you can get any duration that you want under a year. Cheap too.

Yes, you can get one in Bangkok or Cambodia or even Laos. It usually takes 3 or 4 days, and most travel agents can assist you with the process. Don't worry, there are many tourists who travel this route and people do it all the time (I got mine done in Laos).

There are many reports of non-Asian visitors who arrive at the Airport without a visa being sent back out again.
Get your visa before you enter. Via the road or river port of entry you can get a visa there, however, again some have been turned around. Getting a visa at the border is possible, but can take many hours if not a couple days.
Just do a google search for the Vietnam Embassies closest to you, download and print off the form, attach your photo, costs about $40 for a one month visa, send it to them with your passport and you will get your passport and visa back normally with a week.
If you want to stay for more than a month or likely to leave and re-enter Vietnam, pay the extra dollars (about $100) and get a multiple entry visa which is good for 6 months.
