Which budget hotel in HCMC is most convenience/reliable?
All I can say, you get what you are paying for. For $18 USD a night with basic room items - bed, tv, fridge, cupboard & attach bathroom. The room is small so you'll end up opening most of your things on the bed as there are minimal floor space.
If you're particular about sleeping comfort, please bring along your own pillow (they're lumpy for us).
Our room did not have a window and we got a smell trapped in the room.
Shoes are not allowed to be worn in the place to keep it clean. In total 5 floors & no elevator so you better be ready to hike up those steps!
All in all, a cheap & clean place for accommodation but do not look for too much comfort.

Dont just limit yourself to budget hotels , i find that you can get a top end hotel (Rex , New World etc etc)at very similar prices . If you are in a position to just turn up at the door and enquire . I have had some amazing rates doing this as everything is open to negotiation
