If you want big city lights and bustling crowd then you definitely should come to Saigon, but if you prefer quite and relaxing scenes then you should come to Hue or Da Nga.

This all depends on the individuals taste, and I certainly wouldn't say that anyone was wrong in their choice, but after going to plenty of the cities in Vietnam, the one that always sticks in the back of my mind is Hue, but for the best place to visit it has to be Ha Long Bay, an unbelievable place that has just about everything |

For ancient taste, try Hoi An and Hue.
For modern, try Saigon
Hanoi is OK... I havent been there in about 10-12 years, I dont really know. |

Hue, is the most beautiful and has the nicest people. The ancient Citadel, Floating on the Royal Barges on the Perfume River, The wonderful food, Spectacular Pagodaos and the most romanic little cafes along the river. I can't wait to return next summer. cheers |
