Which place is better to visit: Hoi An, Nha Trang, Da Nang?

We want to stay somewhere exotic, with a night life but relaxing. It must have an amazing beach. We will be staying for approx 3 nights.

Hoi An was really fun. But if you want to have a GREAT night life, you have to visit Ho Chi Ming City, aka Saigon.

Nha Trang has a beautiful tropical theme. High mountain surrounded by water. it's truly amazing. Da Nang is just a popular city.

deffinatly nha trang is viet nams party central, great local beach [ other beaches near by]. i dont know if i'd call it exotic, but there is plenty do do in and around town.. more than any other place in viet nam .. and nha trang "stays open" late[after midnight]... da nang has nothing, and hoi an althought has many nice cafes/bars and great resturaunts the town closes up early [10 pm] and is mostly a "shopping stop"[clothething, art, souveniers]

I suggest that you spend all three days at the Hoi An beach, 4Km from the acncient town where you can visit alot of thing.

It also depends on the season: from Nov to Feb maybe cool at this region. In this case Nha Trang is better.

I haven't been to Hoi An yet, but I've been to Nha Trang and Da Nang
And I have to say Nha Trang is better in my opinion. It's full of people, and it has great beaches,
but if you want to go for something more quiet, I would suggest Da Nang

i prefer nha trang
it has tons of beautiful natural things
well im not born there but that place looks very nice

You can hit Hoi An and Da Nang in 1 day. Personally, I like Hoi An for its small, old-town charm. I like the feeling of sitting at night enjoying my meal or coffee under the many lit handmade fabric lanterns - but no beach here.

If you want exotic, relax and beach then I would recommend spend a day at Nha Trang. It's one of the bigger city so there will be more activities and options for different budgets.

Da Nang, it's a wonderful place! Lots of things to do/see
