I just purchased round-trip tickets from Bangkok to Ho Chi Minh City on Air France, their price was about $200.00US, far cheaper (by hundreds of dollars) than Thai Airways, United, Singapore, VietNam Airlines, Bangkok Airways,Lufthansa, etc.(some of the other airlines that fly to HCMC). AirAsia does have flights to Hanoi, but does not fly to Ho Chi Minh City, very good price, too. I've already done the legwork for you, if you want a good fare to Hanoi, use AirAsia( I hate that airline, though), and the best fare to HCMC is Air France from Bangkok, check it out, good luck! |

Check out the links given below. Those sites list various flights from Bangkok into HCMC (Saigon) and Hanoi and even Danang.
Vietnam Airlines is the carrier that flies most often between those cities but Lao Airlines also has flights from Bangkok to Hanoi via Vientiane. |

Not sure about SGN, but Air Asia fly BKK to HN several times a day. It's about $40/50USD one way. Check out http://www.airasia.com for details.
Maybe try http://www.jetstar.com, but not sure if they fly direct BKK / HN.
Vietnam Air, Thai, and Air France all fly this route, but are generally much more expensive than A/Asia.
