It depends on where you are. Ha Noi is pretty grey much of the year. Check when the rainy seasons are for different parts of the country. Summer on the coast is pretty sunny. |

i went back to vietnam this summer and im telling you now dont come back during the summer. it is sooooo hot you cant even breath. some day it will be like 105 F and some day it will be like 95F but the thing about vietnam is that they dont have air conditioner. Not all Hotels have it, only the 3-5 stars hotels has it. in vietnam there is only 2 season one is hot and the other is rain. so if you want some sunshine then go around november and december it the best. is not hot is just ok as i should say perfect weather. |

During the summer the sun just blazes. May thru July are the hottest months. But the best time of year is right now. Between the middle of December and the middle of January the temperatures are cool and the sun is usually out. High season in Vietnam! |

You will have already gathered its hot all the time here,i live in Nha Trang which is the premier beach resort in Vietnam,other than oct and nov [when it rains allot] its sunny,but my experience of the last 2 years has been march and april not a cloud in the sky. |

spring is the best time i think! but if you want full blast then summer is the season, but it's pretty hot in summer, might want to bring extra sunblock. |
