XO Laptops Does anyone have one to donate/sell? I am going to Vietnam and want to bring them to the children!?
I am going to Vietnam in May to visit a school for children who cannot afford regular school. I was there in January to teach English, and since my return I have raised money for XO laptops. However, OLPC requires a 3 month lead time.
So I cannot get my laptops in time. Does anyone have an XO laptop that they could donate or sell to me? Or have any ideas on how to get one?
In my opinion, you should not bring laptops to Vietnam, there are a lot more thief's there now then you probably remember. Plus, it's kids who can't afford regular school, and some would try to sell the laptops. But if you really want to bring them over there, you should look on craiglist.
