OK... STOP and go over the BASICS... AGAIN:
1. You should have made a budget and STUCK TO IT!
2. If you win, cash out and LEAVE the premises! Call it a day/night and try again the next day.
3. If you lose (and you did), NEVER, I mean, NEVER attempt to "win back" your losses! It won't happen. The longer you play, the more you will lose.
4. The house ALWAYS WINS! Period. It's all mathematically in their favor, never yours.
5. Don't get drunk and play... anything!
6. Wear a watch so you'll know when to leave.
7. Bring a trusted and responsible friend along, that can watch you and tell you "let's go" when it's over.
8. When you lose your "daily budget" that's it. No more anything. Leave the premises.
9. You've lost $60k, so now what? Get away from Vegas or casinos in general ASAP. Stay away for a LONG, LONG while and cool your jets.
10. Call Gambler's Anonymous now.
FYI- I've lost and seen friends lose vast amounts too. Recovery is hard, losing is even harder. Get away and let it all cool off. |

DOIN' RIGHT AINT GOT NO END

Your first mistake was going to the casino. Your second mistake was playing roulette. You played about the worst game in the house and you don't even know how to spell it. How do you put 60 k down on a game you can't even spell properly? If anything, practice craps or blackjack on line for free before you go back, other than that stay away! |

Unless you have an expendable bankroll in excess of $600K, you should not even consider trying to recoup your losses.
Your best bet is to find a job or second job; sell some of your belongings and/or cut down on your costs of living to rebuild your savings.
I wouldn't even suggest you step into a Casino again, but if you do, for Heaven's sake play games with better odds like; Craps or Blackjack! |

Your best bet is to just smile and move on. I had a gambling problem and was able to stop myself when I was on the brink of ruin.
Casinos exsist because they make money. They have an advantage, hence they always win. There is a princepal called Gambler's Ruin, and that is what you are experiencing. The house will always win.
If you were to stay to anything, it would benefit you to learn to play texas holdem' You are not playing against the house but against other people, so as long as you are the smartest person in the room and you know when to fold you can win, and earn good money.
But in your case, seek help. And cut your losses before it is too late. I really hope this helps! |

Yeah -- good idea. Go gamble more, and keep losing. |

Ooofah! You lost $60 grand and you want to get back? You have a gambling problem friend. First, be realistic, you will never get it back. Forget about it. Second, admit you have a gambling problem. Third, get away and stay away from Las Vegas and casinos in general. Fourth, how do you think those casinos stay in business? How do they build bigger and better all the time? It's not because they let people win! The house always wins, it's not just a saying, it's the God honest truth! Every game you play is in the house's favor. Ever notice how you can "lower the odds" but never make them in your favor? For your own good, go home, lick your wounds and stay away for a long time hopefully. You have some great advice (posts) going here, take them to heart. Maybe you should seek help with Gambler's Anonymous? |

You won't be able to take it back. You lost it, the casino got it. Roulette is the worst game as it has been stated. Gambling should be viewed as entertainment only. Don't try to recoup it. Move on and get some help with your addiction.
Do not try a different game, you'll lose more. The odds are against those who gamble and are in favor of the casino. That's why they are in business.
Good luck |

Your best "bet" is to stop gambling. However, if you're bent on trying to recoup your winnings by gambling, here's a little known fact. The Chickasaw Nation has over a dozen casinos in Oklahoma, and there is an average of 80% payback for patrons. (The other 20% is used by the tribe to meet the housing, educational and health needs of Native Americans.) Of course, Oklahoma isn't Las Vegas, but that's a good thing! |
