American Airlines and American Eagle are offering special fares on flights to and from Miami for a limited period of time in both Economy and Premium Classes. Economy Class prices start as low as $93 each way and Premium Class prices start as low as $348 each way based on round-trip travel purchased on AA.com. Taxes and fees are included.
American Airlines and American Eagle serve 110 destinations from Miami, with more than 300 daily flights. In April, American will begin new nonstop service from Miami to Barcelona, Spain; and in June, American will begin new nonstop service to Manaus, Brazil. This promotion also applies for select travel on oneworld® alliance and joint business partners Iberia and British Airways.
"The spring is a great time to visit Miami or to take a trip to one of the many destinations we serve from our Miami hub," said Peter Dolara, American's Senior Vice President – Mexico, Caribbean and Latin America. "We're glad to offer our customers the chance to take advantage of our extensive network of destinations and wide product offerings at fantastic prices."
Book now, as tickets at these special prices will go quickly and must be purchased by Feb. 28. Economy Class tickets must be purchased at least 14 days prior to travel. Premium Class fares must be purchased 21 days prior to travel.
Sale prices are valid for outbound travel in Economy Class from Feb. 28 – June 9, except for destinations in Europe (including the U.K.) for which travel must commence no later than March 30, 2012, and for outbound travel in Premium Class from March 7 – June 9. All travel must be completed by June 12. Blackout dates and other restrictions apply.
The special promotional fares are valid for travel on American Airlines or American Eagle:
- between Miami and destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean daily;
- between Miami and destinations within the U.S. and to Central and South America, Japan,China, and continental Europe on Monday – Thursday;
- and for travel between Miami and the U.K. on Monday – Wednesday.
Other days are subject to higher fares.
A Saturday night stay is required for itineraries between Miami and destinations in the U.S., Central and South America, and Europe.
On itineraries to Asia, a three-day stay is required.
There is no minimum stay required for Economy Class travel to the Caribbean or for Premium Class travel to the Caribbean or Mexico. The maximum stay allowed is 30 days.
